Zillow.com May Go Public — New York Real Estate

Zillow.com May Go Public

by Raja Tayeb on September 22, 2010

Rumors that Zillow.com is about to file for an initial public offering and go public are being fueled by executive changes at the top.

Rich Barton, who is a co-founder and who has been CEO, announced last week that he would become executive chairman. Spencer Rascoff, Zillow’s chief operating officer and the founder of Hotwire, will take his place.

Barton is considered to be an expert at dealing with investment bankers and a polished presenter on television and before potential investors – keys to success in the public arena.
